Free to submit
Inventors never pay to submit, to be evaluated or to be mentored. No idea or prototype is too small.
Inventors Unleashed
Africa Inventions is the first chapter. Latin America and the Caribbean, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia and the Caucasus, and the Pacific Islands come next.
Africa Inventions opened first, for the whole continent at once. Each region now has its own independent organisation and website, built around its own languages and its own way of thinking and advancing.
All 54 African countries and the diaspora, in English, French and Portuguese. The flagship chapter, open now.
33 countries from Mexico to Chile and across the Caribbean, in Spanish, Portuguese, English and French.
Eight countries from Afghanistan to Sri Lanka, home to a large share of the world's young people.
The ASEAN member states, from megacities to remote islands, built on regional examination cooperation.
Central Asia, the South Caucasus and Mongolia, along the trade routes between Asia and Europe.
Island nations at the front line of the climate, remote-first and ocean-minded.
A new chapter opens only when the conditions below are met, so that no inventor is promised help we cannot deliver.
Regional universities, innovation hubs, a patent partner and civil-society members agree the chapter's plan and standards.
Partner hubs are confirmed in anchor countries and the chapter's Patent Fee Fund receives its first commitments.
Submission opens in the chapter's languages, online and by WhatsApp and SMS, with free evaluation and mentoring.
National rounds lead to a regional final, and the chapter's champions go on to the Inventors Unleashed World Final.
Conditions to open a chapter
From one continent to every region still building.

Where every invention begins
How do we solve a problem that keeps coming back in our lives or in our communities? How do we improve a solution that exists but still falls short? Most of history's great inventions started there.
What problem could you solve today? Which existing invention or solution could you make better, cheaper, safer or easier to use?
Put the problem and your idea on paper, with a sketch if you can. Date it and keep it. A written idea can be tested, improved and protected.
When you think you have the solution, or even part of it, submit it. We will help you with the rest.

Our responsibility
No one else will solve our problems, transform our raw materials, or invent and create in our place. It is time to stop waiting for others and to take action today.
Every problem we solve brings us closer to well-being and a better future for the generations that follow.
